Recites:
(a) Lease of 1 Nov. 29 Eliz.I [1587] from Lord Wentworth to Roger Richardson, citizen and merchant tailor of London, of a piece of waste ground (130 yards from east to west) at Lymost [Limehouse] abutting the tenement occupied by the widow Gryffen on the west, the tenement of James Brock on the east, and the river Thames on the south, for 500 years.
(b) assignment of 20 Oct. 31 Eliz.I [1589] of the said lease of 1 Nov.1587, from Edward Mallowes, citizen and vintner of London, and Margaret his wife (executrix of the will of the said Roger Richardson), to Fabyan Poscelett of London, gent.
1. now assigns to 2. a part (50 feet) of the said waste ground, lying between part of the said waste ground already assigned to Thomas
Greves, shipwright, on the east, and another part still occupied by 1. on the west, abutting the Thames on the south, and the "common waye and passage leadinge from Rattcliffe to Lymost towards the northe", for the residue of 500 years.
2. agrees to pay Lord Wentworth 2s 6d p.a. (in twice-yearly instalments) in part payment of the 13s 4d p.a. reserved to Lord Wentworth
by lease (a) above.
