| AdminHistory | Tower Hamlets branch of the Womens Equality Party (WEP) was active from around 2017 until 2024 when the partys members nationally voted to disband WEP.
The last leader of the branch, Elena Scherbatykh wrote in 2025: 'In that time weve supported local and national campaigns and elections. Weve built up a range of artefacts from the many protest marches, meetings and activities weve held such as our hand-stitched banner, placards and campaign materials...a testament to the boroughs proud history of leading the fight for gender equality.' |
