AdminHistoryIn 1865 the offices of the Tabernacle Mutual Benefit Building and Investment Society were based at Tabernacle Walk, Finsbury, EC. Thomas Wright was the secretary, and the Society was probably linked to the Tabernacle Independent Chapel, which was next door. The Trustees of the Society in August 1864 were John Teede, Charles Goulden, George Sim and Andrew Thom Roberts.
CustodialHistoryThe deed was either held by the Society or for the City Prison, Holloway. It was originally deposited at Bromley Historic Collections (i.e. Bromley Central Library). It was transferred to Tower Hamlets Local History Library and Archives on 12 March 2025.
