| AdminHistory | The Association of Island Communities was set up to support the community in the Isle of Dogs and petition on their behalf for issues that affected the area. The committee helped to come up with plans to improve the community in the wake of the closure of the docks and the redevelopment of the area. One of the legacies legacy of the Association of Island Communities is the development of Mudchute Park as a communal open space.
