AdminHistoryHenry C. Wilks was born in South London in 1917. He graduated from London School of Economics with a degree in Sociology and began a career as a geography teacher in 1951. Between 1963-1977 he was head of the Geography Department of George Green's School and in 1979 his book, "George Green's School, 1828-1978, A History" was published. Wilkes held office in the Geographical Association and was considered an authority on geographical fieldwork. He died in 1992.
