This Bible was given to George Weedon by the Trustees of the Parochial Schools of Saint Matthew, Bethnal Green, on his admission 'in pursance of the Will of the late Reverend Cornelius Winter'. Rules and regulations of the school for children and their parents stating George Weedon was admitted to the Parochial Schools on 5 July 1866 are fixed on the back cover.
