AdminHistoryThe Veltman family were Jewish and lived at 49 Hughes Mansions, Stepney. Morris Veltman was a tailor's machinist and a member of the Workers Circle Friendly Society and the Bretherens of Truth Friendly Society. Annie Veltman his wife was doing unpaid domestic duties according to the 1939 England and Wales Register. Their son Jack Veltman was a salesman of fancy goods, and a member of the Clerical and Administrative Workers Union.

Morris and Annie's daughter Phyllis Veltman died at 49 Hughes Mansions alongside her mother in 1945 in the last V2 rocket attack on London.
