AdminHistory | St John Beverley Groser (1890-1966), an Anglican priest based in East London for 40 years, was a curate at St Michael [and All Angel's], Bromley-by-Bow, from 1922, before moving to Christ Church, Watney Street, and then to St George-in-the-East. From 1948 to 1962 he was Warden and then Master of the Royal Foundation of St Katherine in Ratcliff.
Dorothy Halsall was a lay worker with Father Groser at St George-in-the-East before moving with him to the restored Royal Foundation of St Katharine, becoming one of the original members of the community there. |
