Records of the Tower Hamlets Mission The destruction of The Great Assembly Hall by enemy action in 1941 appears to have destroyed the majority of the early records of the Mission. The surviving records include administrative, legal and financial records as well as printed ephemera and illustrations. there is incomplete run of the Mission's journal The Record, from 1887-1996 the early editions of which are profusely illustrated.
