  <dc:title>Arts Folder of Mixed Photographs</dc:title>
<dc:description>Seven black and white photographs stored within a folder entitled 'Tower Hamlets - Arts', with the additional annotations, 'current' and 'admin'.

The photographs are a mixture of images of buildings and people, including: Gladstone House, Lansbury Estate (Poplar); a portrait photograph of Reverend and Mrs Lax in their garden; Trinity Church; groups of people inside and outside of Poplar Methodist Church. One of the latter photographs was taken outside of Poplar Methodist Church in the late 1920s/early 1930s and is entitled 'Poplar Methodist Mission: The Fortnightly Bus or To and From the ''Cliff Edge'' Holiday Home'. Further annotations on the reverse of this photograph read 'MRX3 Pic C April 8 Memory Lane' so the image may relate to a project of the same name [see W/PMC/8].</dc:description>
