The church is currently known as Poplar Methodist Church, however, during its long existence it has been known under various different names, including: Trinity Methodist Church; Poplar Methodist Mission; Poplar Wesleyan Church; Poplar Wesleyan Chapel and the New Model Chapel.  

The collection has been arranged into the following ten series' of records, which reflect the main activities of the church and the way in which it operated from the 1840s-1990s.

W/PMC/10: 	Records of Related Methodist Churches (c. 1875-1999)
