Half Moon Theatre Limited Report for the year 1983/84: A year of change This report contains a summary of activities undertaken by the Half Moon Theatre and Half Moon Young People's Theatre during 1983-1984 and other updates (e.g. on the building development, fundraising, staffing, governance etc), however, unlike the other annual reports in this collection (see ref: P/ROR/1/4/1) it does not include financial data relating to the Half Moon Theatre (e.g. statement of accounts). Some of the significant Half Moon activities which took place during this period included in the report are as follows: - the start of building work on the new theatre on 3 May 1983; - the appointment of Stuart Mungall as Artistic Director in June 1983 and his subsequent resignation in December 1983; - the appointment of Chris Bond as Artistic Director in June 1984; - the private party held to lay a dedication stone for the new building in September 1983; - the new theatre being 'topped-out' at an event in January 1984. 1984
