Recites will (made 13 Sep.1814, proved in P.C.C. by Harriett Elizabeth Roberts and Lancelot Loat) of Robert Roberts (father of 1.) late of The Paragon, Southwark, surveyor, whereby he made various bequests of property to his wife Sarah and after her death to his daughter Harriett Elizabeth Roberts and son Robert Roberts. He died in June 1815 and 1., having reached the age of 21 on 18 Mar. 1822, now secures £500 from 2. by mortgaging to him a moiety of his interest in £1300 in 4&amp;percnt; annuities, plus the following property: (a) a piece of ground on the east side of Mill Street 'next the mill pond and on the south side of Hickman's Folly', Bermondsey (measuring 44' by 13'), together with the brick arch built over the said mill pond by Griffith Roberts, 1's. grandfather, and the public house built on the same piece of ground, known as the Feathers and occupied by Hugh Capp. (b) two houses (no.11, occupied by Mr.Chapman, and no.12), in Artillery Passage, Old Artillery Ground.
