Elizabeth was seized in fee of copyhold premises in the Stepney Manor at Saint Mary Whitechapel, as follows: cottage in occupation of John Middleton; tenement in occupation of John Martin, stone cutter; tenement called The Royal Oak in the occupation of Day and adjoining cottage in occupation of Baldwyn, widow; two tenements in occupation of Thomas Moore and Thomas Brown. Russell had paid £200 money to aid Newton in his business trade, and Elizabeth accordingly surrendered her copyhold to the Lord of the Manor to the use of Russell.
