<dc:title>Photograph album re Cornelius McCarthy exhibition at Stepney Central Library</dc:title>
<dc:description>Black and gold photo album created by John Konsbruck, containing black and white images of Cornelius McCarthy's exhibition which he describes as being held at Stepney Central Library in July 1961 in his note on the inside cover. This was the former Mile End Library, Bancroft Road, which was to become the Central Library for the newly formed London Borough of Tower Hamlets in 1965 and currently, in 2019, houses Tower Hamlets Local History Library and Archives. Mile End Library must have been designated as Central Library while still under the control of Stepney Metropolitan Borough, the name was changed in c. 1958.

Each page has brief descriptions and paintbrush strokes and tape on the adjacent page, photographs are mounted onto the pages. At the back of the album is a black and white photograph of Cornelius dated 1960. </dc:description>
