  <dc:title>McCarthy Sketchbook</dc:title>
<dc:description>A mauve sketchbook filled with rough drawings. The book is bound with board and leather and is approximately twenty five and a half centimetres tall by twenty wide. As with SBM this sketchbook is filled with a wide variety of sketches, though this time there are a handful of male nudes scattered throughout the book. There are no page numbers.

Again, as with P/MCC/2/13 the relative lack of male nudes indicates that this sketchbook was used relatively early in McCarthy's career. There are many portraits and abstract paintings, many of which incorporate pasted-in physical objects such as train tickets and newspaper cutouts.

Number of Sketches: 110</dc:description>
