  <dc:title>McCarthy Sketchbook</dc:title>
<dc:description>A brown sketchbook. The book is bound with board and leather and is approximately eighteen centimetres tall by twenty six wide. Most of the drawings appear to be rough, abstract sketches, though there are a few portraits and fewer nudes as well. The pages are not numbered.

Several pages from a different sketchbook appear to have been inserted into P/MCC/1/7. These pages are neither marked nor dated. A purple bookmark indicates that the sole model in this book was Terry Cowley. There is also an impressive painting of West Park Pavillion in Bedfordshire, also marked with a purple bookmark.

Number of Sketches: 43</dc:description>
