McCarthy Sketchbook A blue and gold sketchbook filled with rough drawings. The book is bound with board and is approximately twenty two centimetres tall by fifteen wide. The front cover and spine of the book are decorated with gold patterns. The sketches within the book are mostly nudes although there are also a few pictures of vases, jugs and other pottery. There are no page numbers. This sketchbook contains a number of sequential sketches, and very few of the drawings are coloured in. There are also no paintings in this sketchbook. At the very back of the book are some rough notes regarding some of McCarthy's prints and drawings, as well as a short list of plants and their prices in pound sterling. Number of Sketches: 99 1996
