  <dc:title>McCarthy Sketchbook</dc:title>
<dc:description>A very large green and blue sketchbook filled with rough drawings. It is bound with card at the front and board at the back, connected by a metal spiral binder. The book is approximately thirty eight centimetres tall by twenty six wide. In terms of sketches this sketchbook contains no male nudes, but does contain a very impressive array of landscape paintings, profiles and portraits. There are no page numbers.

As mentioned in the item description, there are a great many landscape pictures in this sketchbook. Most are very beautiful impressionist paintings of the countryside, though two depict buildings, the first being a painting of a church and the second being a detailed sketch of a large house in the Tudor style.

Number of Sketches: 18</dc:description>
