McCarthy Sketchbook A large black sketchbook.. The book is bound with board and buckram and is approximately twenty three centimetres tall by eighteen wide. As with P/MCC/1/10, most of the drawings within consist of pictures of the male form, though unlike P/MCC/1/10 a large number of said sketches are the results of McCarthy experimenting with various poses. In addition, a handwritten note within the sketchbook indicates that McCarthy was also interested in exploring the movement and shifting of weight as depicted in artwork.
