March 13th Sights Cape of Good Hope. Lands at Cape Town.
March 15th Leaves the "St. Vincent" and boards  "Celt" a steamship bound for St. Helena.
March 22nd Lands on Island of St. Helena at Jamestown. Visits Longwood the former residence of Napoleon Bonaparte.
March 25th Lands at Ascension Island.
April 3rd Sights the "Great Sarah Desert".
April 5th Sights Grand Canary Island and lands at St. Cray.
April 7th Lands at Bay of Fuuchal in Madeira.
April 12th Sights the Needles.
April 13th Sees the Isle of Wight and goes ashore at docks near Southampton Water. Goes to Pear Tree Green and calls to see some friends at Pear Tree Cottage. Takes train to Waterloo Station and returns to Vicarage.</dc:description>
