Records of the Baths Committee Scope and content: This committee was responsible for all aspects of the management and maintenance of Bow Baths, Cheshire Street Baths, Island Baths (Tiller Road), Mile End Baths, Poplar Baths, Ratcliffe Baths, St George's in the East Swimming Baths, Whitechapel Baths, York Hall. There are details on hall hire, including charges; staff working conditions and rates of pay; incidents involving the public and other matters were also considered.
