Project Development Records of the development of a project to tackle urban deprivation in Spitalfields, Tower Hamlets, which was chosen as a pilot area within the Deprived Areas Project jointly funded by central government, the Greater London Council (GLC) and the London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) to address the issues of deprivation across Inner London. Records include research and reports regarding urban deprivation, papers on the establishement and development of the Project and also include copies of records related to the second pilot area within the Deprived Areas Project, that of the Henley Road area in Islington. 1975-1983
