Finland Wharf E Ledger, 1972-1974 Very large volume entitled 'Finland Wharf C Ledger' containing records about accounts held with J. J. and S. W. Chalk dating from April 1972 - August 1974 and some loose documentation dating from March 1971 - August 1973. Inside the front cover there is a typed list entitled ''E'' Ledger Daily Accounts'. The volume contains an embedded alphabetical index with records arranged alphabetically by account holder name within the index. At the beginning of each alphabetic section there is table with column headings consisting of the the letters 'A'; 'E'; ' I'; 'O'; 'U' and 'Y' and listings re account holders. Each account section includes lists of the account holder's credits and debits to J. J. and S. W. Chalk, arranged in date order. The loose material found within the volume consists of: change of address notifications (e.g. for Truman Hanbury Buxton and Co. Ltd, Brewery, Spitalfields, London); calculations; notes; remittance advice documents; receipts etc. 1971-1974
